Today was actually quite a sunny happy day - although it was still quite cold outside up here in Newcastle.

This photo pops into my stream and I have to laugh a little - even though its an umbrella it reminds me that spring IS on the way, it WILL arrive, and the rain WILL end (there is a great song on "The Crow" soundtrack about that very subject).

Sorry, couldn't resist. The lightings all over the place, but the composition is still good, and angle the pig was shot at excellent.

I don't care if this is photoshopped a bit, its still a well composed image that makes an amazing photo.

It takes me back to my trip to Rome, and makes me want to go again :)
